BENJAMIN

Dedicated To Victims Of Child Abuse

In the street he stood

Bloody nose and bruises

Not having a childhood

A ghost of illusion

No one knew this boy

Of golden locks and tears

No one seen, No one cared

Walking by a life of fears

Who will see this child of ten?

Who will see little Benjamin?

No one will ever see

What could have been

He died alone tonight

Our poor little Benjamin

An innocent child lost

By a parent’s cold hand

A future forever lost

In violence’s quicksand

Who will remember this child of ten?

Who will remember little Benjamin?

Who will remember Sweet Benjamin?
