Behind the Smoke Screen

Lies A World Within

Plunge beneath the handfed information,

Demand and seek explanation.

Uttered words from generations, require now, investigation

Coiled serpent ecstatic liberation, deliverance, my salvation.

Sciatic nerve pinch, breathe in,

Behind the smoke screen lies a world within

Manipulation, guilt and damnation,

Find it hard to fight seductive temptation.

Tempest storm that never does pass

Choking on debris and shattered glass.

Throw me a life line before I bleed out,

Unable to endure on all this doubt.

"Now dissolve... bliss... be the dream,

Open your eyes to the delusion you're in.

You can become what you Will to be,

Say it, see it... now taste the dream."

Convulsions, spasms impaired from madness,

Afflicting lacerations, leaves a sting of sadness.

Demented all, wonder why you fall,

Succumb to the demons you invite the call.

Internal bleeding soaks up the façade

Trapped somewhere between the here and shards.

Infinity of stars is where you began,

Now confined to your netherworld pen.

"Expire... release... exhale, let go

The outer world a mirror for the show.

No need to go far to change what be,

Step within the division you'll see.

Manipulated, controlled administrated,

Barricade a wall between the truth and the haters.

Your life to live, yours to call

Don't be ruled by the judgement of the all.

"Now dissolve... bliss... be the dream,

Open your eyes to the delusion you're in.

You can become what you Will to be,

Say it, see it... now taste the dream."
