Girl, I can understand your burning desire wanting to be beautiful

You think that all your problems will disappear when you become one

You will get all the compliments, all the boys will fight for you

You will be the center of attention on any occasion

You thought that you’ll be the popular girl among your peers

You thought that everyone, either boy or girl, will love your companionship

Where you’ll be lonely no more

Finally, you become beautiful

You are expecting all those wonders to happen

Strangely, that’s not happening

You wonder why is it so?

Am I not beautiful enough to be the queen or princess?

Why am I still the lone wolf?

Girl, you must understand, beauty is not everything

No doubt it’s a big bonus in life

Beauty is not lasting, but wisdom is

They both must go hand-in-hand

Only then you can go a long way and conquer the world

Wisdom without beauty may have a rough start, but added with persistence it will bring you to your destination

Wisdom can turn ugly to become beautiful

Beauty without wisdom is not much of use

There are many beautiful girls in the world

But the girls with true wisdom are lesser in comparison

If I can only choose one between beauty and wisdom

I will choose wisdom
