(Intro)

Go away, leave me alone. I need to think and I can't go home. I need some time, I need some space. I need to cope with the things I couldn't bring myself to face.

(Chorus)

I'm surrounded by barbed wire fences, built by the ones that I loved, and that was one of my hardest lessons.

Now I know!

That you lie, that you cheat, that you hide, and you'll leave. Oh did you ever think... Never mind I know you didn't, and there's nothing you can do to fix it!

(Verse 2)

How can you expect me to be ok with this?

I can't believe in you. What you did, or what you do.

I can't get over it. I can't find it in me to forgive.

Oh no, I can't watch, I can't listen.

(Verse 3)

Oh, your eyes, your laugh, your smile. You made me think hard times would pass, and everything would be worth my while.

Oh, your charm made it hard for my heart to accept that my mind couldn't handle the struggle!

(Verse 4)

Please don't get physical with me, please don't yell at me! Please stop making me believe that I'm nothing. Stop treating me like I'm the worst thing that could have happened to you, and then needing me. Please stop relying on me. My cup is empty.

(Outro)

Please go away, leave me alone. I need to think, and I can't go home. No I can't go home. I just want to let go.
