Balloons

Poem about balloons

In balloons, we drift

As we drift, we fly away

The people we know today

Are not those we knew yesterday

Floating in a balloon

With nothing to fear

Only clouds to see

And the wind to hear

As we float along,

Admiring every sight

Others below us

Start to take flight

There are ups and downs

On our journey to the sky,

Some drag us down

While others just fly by

We must cherish this balloon,

Through thick and thin

Because the balloon inside us

Is our state within
