I don’t think it was bad timing.

I don’t think it is unfinished business

I think sometimes you do need to chase the wrong one

Sometimes you do need to go after the one who doesn’t care

Sometimes you need to dwell on all the what if’s

So you can finally reach a point in your life where you understand that you don’t need what you think you need

You do not want what you want

You don’t deserve what you think you deserve

So you know with peace in your heart that the choice that felt so wrong

The turn that seemed so wrong

The missed opportunity

In fact was a blessing in disguise.

You see, the Universe is always protecting you

Saving you from wrong paths

You just think that you made a mistake when things start falling apart

But what if, what if you were meant for more

What if there are better horizons to explore

So you know, my dear, you need to keep going

Even if gets too dark

Even if it gets too late

Even if it gets too much to bear

Go on, go on, go on

Better horizons await, baby, the world is yours to take.
