Ask You Ask- Love Poem
Photo by Christiana Rivers on Unsplash

You tremble as you ask, “Will you hold me?”

“Till my life’s end, whenever it shall be.”

You smile as you ask, “Will you kiss me for love’s sake?”

“My lover’s true kiss; fore it’s yours to take.”

You gaze at me as you ask, “Will you make love to me this night?”

“As softly as the whispering winds, as my arms and eyes hold you tight.”

You shake as you ask, “Will you heal my pain?”

“With my love, I shall clear the rain.”

You turn your head as you ask, “Will you love me so?”

“My whole life through, more than you’ll ever know.”
