I know that love is never easy
But loving me shouldn’t be this hard
You were an ocean
And I got swept up in your mind
Your imagination, your words
Waves of emotion pulled me in
And push me out
Over and over again.
I’m drowning
But you don’t care
I’m dying
And you’re not there
You’re too busy being pulled by the moon
Being blinded by her beauty
And if she controls your tides
I guess I’m starting to be pulled by her too
I just want you to be happy
But it’s killing me
I’m drowning.
But at least you’re happy with her
