Poems and Excerpts

yet another broken soul in my adjacent home

yet another comparison that's just dying to break all normal molds

everyone seems to be so similar

it's hard to decipher who's different

when everything ends the same

who decides to be so clever in a game that's so mundane

simply mindless, and it replays over in the lost shelf of shame put away for another day

Reread your words so clearly you forget how to be safe, you drown in your own mindless grave you dig for yourself when you fall back after everyone ends up being like the rest, how unfortunate it must be to never gain

Softly spoken words I hear in my mind and I figured it'd be something you'd like to hear when I feel like getting this all off my chest

heartbreak
