Apocalypse

An apocalyptic pandemic

Step outside into the darkness

Empty and swallowing up any life

No one around, no one to see

No one can hear, nothing but fear

Hollow towns, vacant stores

Wallowing in panic

Fear keeps us indoors

A serious state of crisis

Forcing isolation

Almost as if destruction is the destination

An apocalyptic future, creeping in through the back door

Just wait for all Mother Nature has in store

This is the generation that’ll face it all

But no books will be written about society’s great fall

No one alive, no one around

No voices to speak warning

In this forgotten town
