And Off We go!

A time of change is upon us as summer turns to fall,

I, for one, welcome cool weather and earlier nightfall.

Nighttime comes sooner, a sweater we might wear,

It's time to leave fun in the sun and days at the beach behind as we wind down the year.

Nature tells us the Earth is preparing for winter to come.

Many people ponder past events, often wondering what will come.

Love, laughter, health, and good cheer? I certainly hope so; my goodness, I think it's already here!

I might be ahead of myself, but Halloween will soon show its ghouls.

Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings- cranberry sauce, ruby red, bright as a jewel.

In December, good old St. Nick will ride his sleigh through the skies. His ho ho ho's and a belly full of laughter will be heard by every child.

Let us remember our actions each day make such a difference in

every way.

A smile or a phone call to a friend far away can be the grandest of things and make someone's day.

Everything is reciprocated- nothing is left undone.

The seasons come and go, as do we,

and now into Autumn, with heartfelt glee!
