There is a child

That is starving in this forest

.

Capitalist exclaim:

“Look!”

“This is what socialism causes”

.

Socialist rant

“See!”

“That is what Capitalism Causes"

.

I ask

“Well?”

“Why have not either of you fed that child yet?"

.

There is a child

That is starving in this forest

And she is called our “Common Sense”

.

.

There is a child

That is freezing to death in this snow-laden forest

.

Capitalist point and shout:

“See!”

“This is what socialism did”

.

Socialist Scream

“Look!”

“That is what Capitalism did”

.

I ask

“Well?”

“Why have not either of you sheltered and warmed the shivering child yet?

.

There is a child

That is freezing to death in this snow-laden forest

And she is called out “Common shared decency”

.

.

There is a parched child

That is dying of thirst this snow-bound forest

.

Socialist point and exclaim:

“Look!”

“This is what Capitalism causes”

I ask

“Well?”

“Why have not either of you offerd her some warming milk of kindness to sip?”

There is a parched child

That is dying of thirst this snow-bound forest

And she is called our “Humanities shared Love and Empathy”

.

.

There is an abandoned child

That is lost and alone in this icy cold, snow-bound forest

.

One side Rants

“See!”

“That is what THEY cause”

One side points and exclaims:

“Look!”

“This is what THEY do”

.

I ask

“I don’t give a shit!”

“Be a pair of decent human beings!”

“And get the job done!”

.

There is an abandoned child

That is lost and alone in this icy cold, snow-bound forest

And she is called “You and me”

.

.

There is an abandoned morality

That is lost and alone in this icy cold, hate-bound world

.

One side gives a moving speech

“Believe me!”

“That is what THEY cause”

“Get an army together”

“And Execute them All!”

.

One side points and Rant:

“Be a true patriot!”

“Help us Stop them NOW!”

“Get an army together”

“And Kill them All!”

.

Meanwhile

Social media, Arms dealers and other interests say so, pleasantly

“You will both need weapons, supplies and coverage”

“Over here dear customer”

“You can get all of those here,”

“From me!”

.

I scream until my throat bleeds for you all

“DO NOT MAKE ANY MORE WEAPONS”

“DO NOT BUY ANY MORE EITHER”

“DO NOT FIGHT EACHOTHER”

“THEN SICKENINGLY DARE CLAIM THAT YOU MURDER FOR ME!”

.

There is an abandoned morality

That is lost and alone in this icy cold, hate-bound world

There is a real “end of days” sale cost, to us all,

And that is Every child in the future of the world,

That there might now,

Never be.
