ALONE ON THANKSGIVING AT 52

JUST ME AND MY DOG CHINTU

SOMEONE SAID YOU DONT GET THE DOG YOU WANT

YOU GET THE DOG YOU NEED

HE CAME ALL THE WAY FROM INDIA

AND HE IS A MONGREL OF EASTERN BREEDS

CHINTU IS MY ONLY FRIEND TODAY

EVEN IF HE JUST WON’T OBEY

HE HOGS THE COUCH

AND IS A GRUMPY GROUCH

BUT HIS SOFT BROWN EYES GAZE AT ME

AS IF TO SAY

I LOVE YOU

TODAY IS OUR DAY
