Who knows what true loneliness is - not the conventional word but the naked terror? To the lonely themselves it wears a mask. The most miserable outcast hugs some memory or some illusion.

Joseph Conrad

She knew what

It was to feel

Alone in a crowd

Silent surrounded

By sound.

She carried

Her pain

Silent

And loud

Searching solitude

Surrounded by sound.

Noise and silence

Quiet and loud

Life is full of

Hope and

Brokenness

Dreams

And goals

She knows

What it is

Like to be

Alone in a

Crowd.
