After Seeing Her

After seeing her, I might have made a mistake

The world may have forgotten, but I have not

In love, there is no difference between life and death

Only the one who risks everything knows how to live

Those who smile when they see her have no idea

They know nothing of the pain of not being able to see her

The pain of love cannot be called loyalty anymore

Give me the pain of the heart, worse than physical pain, and then we'll see

My nature does not include loyalty to the river

Where just a little swimming takes others out of their depth
