A Spoonful of You

Star-Crossed Lovers

A spoonful of you

Just a taste

Caress my lips

With the tip of your tongue

Invade my mind

With your radiating light

Captivate my senses

The Sun kneels beside us

The Moon takes a bow

For, the Star-Crossed Lovers

Collided again somehow

Two flames

Ignited together

Burning as one

That is when I understand

How it felt

To create

Galaxies

When the stars collided

And elements merged

Just tonight

I will wear you

On my skin

Like the ring around Saturn

Tomorrow

I will wake up with the dawn

And just as quickly

As you came

You will be gone

A spoonful of you

Just a taste

Though encumbered again

I will wait
