A riddle of continued tragedy.
Life’s sorrows.
The darkness upon the horizon, the storm clouds of despair,
The uncertainty of tomorrow where fear would surely tear,
The destitution of the land, the desolation of the plane,
The mockery of your enemies, the scorning to cause such pain,
The restless searching, day and night, the appeasement for relief,
The yearning for liberation, the quenching such grief,
The lion hunting senseless prey, to shred and surely dare,
The gazing of such horror, the fear as the hunted stare,
The eyes that scorn with arrogant disdain, the yearning to understand and see,
What, I ask, is this trait? What then, could I be?
When all within your deepest being swirls around like a raging storm…
