A Raging River

(Chorus)

You're a raging river.

In a raging storm.

You tell us that you care.

And then you slam the door.

No one knows what to do.

I don't know what you need from me.

Stop forcing everyone into the only future that you see.

It's not fair.

You don't care.

Don't think that I didn't notice.

Don't think that I'm unaware.

(Verse 1)

You're the darkest shade.

On the darkest of days.

You're that bad sunburn.

You're that wrong turn.

When I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere.

No you don't care.

(Verse 2)

You're the most difficult.

Unreasonable.

Unfair individual.

I've ever had to deal with.

You're the most predictable.

Unthoughtful piece of work there is.

you're just.

you're just.

you're just.

I am a Canadian writer. I didn't know what kind of stories I wanted to create until I found a story that was serious but lighthearted, funny, and silly. Those are the kind of stories I am going to bring into fruition. Happy reading!
