A Poem For Pride

My inner children's favorite colors

Are blue and pink

They are the direct connection

To my Metatron Cube

Blasted in black ink

The flow of energy

Rests on my sternum

Archangel Metatron

Is the best of me

During a Shuni practice

I envision blue and pink

Stimulating my nerves to stop

Calcium reflecting purple

Myosin and actin left with dignity

Relaxed and composed

I visualize Metatron in San Francisco

Golden Gate Park's chlorophyll

Is dangerous to nature

Half worn faded green beanie

Walking to the beat of his pulse

San Francisco Pride

Engulfed in rainbow fishnet tutus

Purple flowers

Orange electronic dancing

Mixed race held hands

Transgender men's confident scars

And a lot of matte black leather

Blue sky with various shaped clouds

Protecting blushing love

The universe knows

This is what humans are made of

Scent is lilac

Diversity is emerald

The collective celebrates

The feeling of freedom

Freedom tastes

Like an earthquake

Too humble to vibrate

Translucent concrete too smooth

Maroon friction is calm

Pride's gold-plated atmosphere

Celebrates the Stonewall Riots

June 28, 1969

Queer folks enrich Greenwhich Village

During the cobalt foggy early morning

Stonewall Inn was raided

Police officers strutted indigo pridefully

Invaded our ancestors

Our predecessors and allies

Took to the grey pebbled streets

LGBTQAI+ Greenwhich Village community

Gathered to riot

Against the New York Police Department

Thankful for the violet vibrant energy

Metatron inhales the sacrifice and courage

Exhales with love and compassion

Metatron's blue and pink halo

Encompasses his identity

The legacy of Metatron's top surgery

Will never be forgotten
