throughout this period of unrest
it’s put our sanity to the test
but where may i ask did you go
‘‘twas nature that lifted you from a low
our natural world welcomed you and me
gave a safe place for us to be free
up to this point we took it for granted
this beautiful wilderness nature planted
it took a pandemic for us to see
we are destroying what gave life to thee
so change your heart and your mind
save this planet that does you kind
