A nightmares dream …
When the air we breath isn’t enough to conceive the dreams we wish to follow.,
And the mind is a treacherous and unforgiving opponent laying to rest any pursuit to a fruitful thought left open,
The battle scars you hear about are not the truth, yet the scrum growing inside is absolute,
People think it’s all in fun when we try to run but it leaves razor blade as crumbs,
Try as we may, our demons tuck themselves neatly away, until they slither and they slide creeping once again, possessing us from the inside,
How can we compete against an object no one can see … we can trust, we can keep our faith and we can believe that we will leave them when we wake,
