A Mediocre Smile

A Hard Stone to Lift

Time went by, and my life still remains,

Silently my soul unveils the shadows

Of the burning feelings within my veins.

šŸ˜’

A cat sits on an empty soul's lap.

The darkness prevails unraveled,

A river of tears calls for a nap,

The strength is graveled.

šŸ˜’

The boat roams and I cannot swim,

Deep waters keep me drowning within!

šŸ˜’

The dark is near, light seems far.

My deep fake smile it's almost a scar

Of those torturous moments of pain in the brain.

The wheel of time keeps going, and I stay the same.

šŸ˜’

Life is not something good to go,

A warrior loses battles but never the war.

Yesterday's feelings were not long ago.

šŸ˜’

Forget-me-not, dear light.

Embrace my darkness whenever it might

Overcome the smile always on my face.

šŸ˜’

My smile is the stone left to turn.

I cannot be fine, but that smile is never gone.

šŸ˜’

Darkness comes and goes,

Sorrow keeps my stones.

šŸ˜’

I will keep the light, I might

Lose the sight for a moment despite

All the battles that kept me victorious.

Life is great at being inglorious!

šŸ˜’

Today let me be, tomorrow I'll fight.

Another journey through victory will bring the light!
