A love that was never fully accepted,

A feeling so pure, so true, so intense.

Yet, the world was not ready for its perfection,

And it was met with rejection.

The pain of unrequited love,

The ache of a heart left alone.

Trying to hide the hurt and the tears,

Wishing for a love that was never truly yours.

No one understood the depth of the emotion,

No one saw the beauty of its devotion.

So, it remained locked in the depths of the heart,

Hidden from the world, a love that fell apart.

But still, it lives on, a flame that will never die,

A love that was never fully accepted, yet still it remains a part of life.

A reminder of what could have been,

And the sadness that still lingers within.
