Did your father, too, tell you to look for him

in the birds? Did he say that

souls don’t die, they just move on

through time and space until they

realize themselves


come back to say everything’s alright? For

that crow yesterday and the hummingbird today performed

intriguing feats that normal birds just do not.

Or is it just whimsy? Is it just a

notion I dreamed in lieu?
