The Hero is back for the final battle

It’s that moment so crushing

An absolute rushing feeling of

Numbness.

I’ve cornered my heart off for so long, because

I couldn’t bear the weight of belonging

To someone I was ultimately going to lose.

I was strong, I was brave

And that’s why you never made it;

No one could stand next to me.

I turned away for long,

I’m sorry I didn’t notice the smoke

As the world around went up in flames.

No more running

Tell them all I’m coming.

I was born to stand, as you all fall

But there is enough strength in me,

To hold us all up.

You asked for my help, so take my hand.

You can walk beside me

For a little while, and

Maybe, you will be the one to stand with me.
