A Glamorous Lie

Original Poem

I’m staying at a castle on the sea

No cares in the world or responsibility

Every day is a sunny sky and a walk in the park

As I ooze from my pores personality and spark

I can eat until stuffed and always get stupidly drunk

Yet somehow my waistline doesn’t grow, perhaps even shrunk

Wrinkles, I don’t get them, nor fine lines as well

I never grow old or show age and stay fit as hell

I have the energy to stay up all night

And be ready in the morning for a 5 a.m. flight

I do buy what I want, with unlimited money

As I live in the land of milk and honey

You fools fall for it every time

The fame you’ve given me should be a crime

Snapping pictures and videos for you to see

Making you wish you were me
