A Poem

She floats on the mist

Drifts on ghost currents she finds

Like the spirits on these streams

She flits better than a fly

Because she carries herself lightly

She flutters bright her colors

Lost not her fairy dust to dusters

She alights on the eyelashes

Of the eyes crying

Tears of heavenly nectar.

She’s bound by no flower

Honor crowns all she finds

Knowing their great beauty

She skips about unshy

Because she carries herself lightly

Disorrients with her dazzle

Can’t fade if the sun shines on shinier

She reframes the daylight

With its rays warming

Beams of heavenly nectar.
