A Country Love Song

Unless you understand the lyrics ~ You will never feel the beat

It was finally her turn to do as she pleased

To find her own happiness and not a life that brought her to her knees

If you don’t like all she is about to do

Then please close your eyes so you don’t have to watch or see

Although, not much credit has been given for all she has done

In her heart, she knows what she gave up or pushed aside

All in means of keeping the peace while everyone else spread hurtful lies

Where were those that judge her most when she laid awake

Sobbing uncontrollably in between the cries

The world was very close to losing a one-of-a-kind soul

On the floor begging whoever was in charge of this place

To please show her mercy for evil had taken its toll

Not all her choices were right, or even kind

Yet, forgiveness is what she longed for most

In her heart and even more so her mind

Oh, the smiles and laughter she has spread

How does it make sense that she would long to be dead

To feel peace and guilt-free

That is all she truly longed to feel and be

This world can be so cruel and fueled by hate

Her blue eyes only wanted to find love

Shared with someone who could reciprocate

There was no end date or mission that needed to be completed

Just two souls drowning in one other ~ Never to feel defeated

No jealousy, lies, or ever to be cheated on

Husband & Wife

Just as they truly belonged

Watch them dance, watch they laugh, watch them…& suddenly

You will understand the lyrics to every classic country love song!
