A Cold

I seem to have developed a cold

I was trying so hard to be bold

my body and mind tried to fight

but the doctors said good night.

Two separate things torn apart

made me rethink my own art

a truthfully wonderful thing I must say

for now I am seizing my day.

I long to remember the things I forgot

for things are the things that I loved and what not

excuse me for using such simple lines

but this is just how I must pay for my crimes.

Disorder is one of those terrible names

that makes me want to go play different games

my words to some may never make sense

but that is okay they're in the past tense.
