It wasn't his handsome smile,
Nor his dazzling style.
It wasn't hi silent stare,
Even though that man did have flare!
You'd be wrong to say it was his athletic stance,
Or even the way in which his hips danced.
It wasn't the fact that he eyed me up,
Nor the way he made my eyes pop.
It wasn't the flick of his brow,
Nor the kisses he blew.
And this I must stress,
It wasn't the way in which he dressed.
It was the warmth of his kindness,
and the soul in his heart,
made me say those words;
"'Til death do us part."
You see my friend,
Love, at first sight, is more than looks.
It's how he makes you feel,
That's the hook.
