A poem

The sun burns a golden brown

You can see all around town

Before the sky turns a grey tone

Before a broken leg shown bone

...

So take down all the sunshine

And go where water got all the brine

And go down to the warm beach

That’s where I be, and what you seek

...

Your face shines, keep me at night

And it gives me real hope and a sight

I’m afraid still that I might again fall

Got ten more hours, but power to call

...

So take me down to the beach

Where all troubles too far to reach

Is that sun still all nice and bright?

Cause I been up and working all night
