Heavy
This is so heavy
Been getting heavy for a minute
Has my legs shakin' from the weight in it
So I've just been trying to catch my breath
But the bricks keep piling on my chest
And I've been handling this suffocation
Which, the shortest glance would bring elation
Palms hit knees, no more air, bent over
Or am I ok? 143lb emotional roller coaster
Then hands move to watering eyes
I'd never cried for any of the other guys
So what is a hopeless romantic to do,
When my body aches at the mere thought of you?
'Cause this day and age seems all too far past,
Standing in streets with boom boxes full blast
I can speak one thing aloud, for sure;
"I CAN'T FUCKING TAKE THIS ANYMORE!"
