Caused by viral or bacterial, fungal and other plant pathogens. It also broadly includes diseases caused by parasitic unicellular algae. These fish diseases account for about 60% of the total loss of fish diseases. ① Viral fish disease. Often cause a large number of fish death, serious impact on freshwater fish farming. At present, there is no effective control method. Pathological diagnosis can be made based on the morphology of the virus and the position of the inclusion bodies formed by the virus. The main freshwater fish virus diseases in China include grass carp hemorrhagic disease, herring hemorrhagic disease and cyprinus vaccinia disease.

② Bacterial fish disease. Because their skin secretes mucus and they have some immunity, bacteria are usually difficult to invade. However, when the density of fish in water increases, water quality deteriorates, feeding and management is improper, fish body is damaged, and fish resistance is reduced, bacterial fish diseases often occur and prevail, resulting in a large number of fish deaths. The main bacterial diseases of freshwater fish in China are mucobacterial gill rot disease, whitehead and mouth disease, erythroderma disease, printing disease and so on, most of which can be prevented and treated.

③ Fungal fish disease. Caused by an aquatic fungus that infects the skin, gills or eggs of fish. There are mainly skin mildew and gill mildew in China. But healthy and uninjured fish are usually not infected.

④ Fish diseases caused by parasitic algae. Only a few single-celled algae can become parasitoid pathogens, causing disease in grass carp, silver carp, aristichthys nobilis and goldfish. Only Oodiniumacidophilum disease was found in fish ponds with acidic water quality in China.

It is caused by animal pathogens. According to pathogens, there are usually the following categories:

① Protozoan disease. Such as small melon worm, fish wave bean worm, oblique tube worm, wheel worm and other parasitic on the body surface, can make fish disease, serious when causing a large number of fish death.

② Paragonimiasis. Except for a few LUMEN parasites, MOST OF THE monONimUS parasitiSES on the body surface and gills of fish, such as THIRD generation worms, RING worms, DIPLOids, etc. Especially in the fry, fish stage, often because of a large number of parasitic and affect the growth and development of fish, and even cause a large number of young fish death.

③ Paragonimiasis. Except for a few species of paragonimus parasitises in mollusks and crustaceans, most of them parasitises in vertebrates. Most of them do little harm to fish. But some species such as trematode, side colonization trematode and so on a large number of parasitic, can make grass carp, herring, silver carp, bighead and so on a large number of death.

④ Tapeworm disease. Only a few tapeworm species have been found in Chinese fish. However, in Guangdong and Guangxi, grass carp species often suffer from serious infection of taenia Jiujiangensis, which can cause a large number of deaths. Taeniasis or ditene taeniasis is common in fish from reservoirs and lakes in China, which also affects the yield to varying degrees.

⑤ Nematode disease. There are many species of nematodes parasitizing fish, both adult and larval. Larvae usually form utricles in the body of fish, and can develop into adults only when they transmigrate to the body of fish eating birds and beasts. It can cause fish disease and even death in Chinese fishes when they are seriously infected with capillaries, uterotropic nematodes and Chinese nematodes.

⑥ Acanthocephalosis. Acanthocephalians are obligate endoparasites, most of which live in the digestive tracts of vertebrates. There are not many species of Acanthocephalus found in fish in China, and the Acanthocephalus of Cyprinus carpio and the Acanthocephalus of Ussuri can cause death to grass carp species.

All landowners &co. Leeches are commonly known as leeches. Some are found in fish that feed on the host's blood or body fluids. However, the species and number of parasitic bdelloid in Chinese fish are very small, so it is not harmful.

⑧ Hook larvae disease. Often parasitic on the surface of the fry, so that its mouth can not open and close, can not feed and die, but the larger fish species is less harmful.

⑨ Crustacean disease. Crustaceans usually live on the fins, surface, nose, mouth and gills of fish, and only some species live in fish. For most fish is the Chinese 鳋, anchor head 鳋, Shi and strange fish (see chart).

Include fish diseases caused by physical, chemical factors or other non-parasitic pests (including natural enemies). The main physical factors are injuries, bruises and abrasions caused by fish in the process of breeding, fishing and transportation, which can lead to skin necrosis and secondary fish diseases (erythroderma, dermatitis, etc.), and finally death. Chemical factors are pesticides, heavy metals, petroleum, phenols and other toxic substances in polluted water that can cause fish to be distorted or killed. A small number of algae swallowed by fish can not be digested and produce toxic substances, or their metabolites contain toxins, can cause fish poisoning death. The common harmful algae in China are Microcystis aeruginosa, Microcystis aquatica, pnurodinoflagellates, Trichaenia etc. Fish DiHai mainly include green moss (filamentous algae), polyps, clams, shrimp (mussel and insect), aquatic insects, such as water centipede Cui ferocious fishes, such as, and black, water snake, water birds, and fish of the rat and the otter, etc.
