Changing the way we think and finding beauty in ordinary moments can really make a difference. Imagine you're cooking dinner for your family after a long and hard day. You're tired and you don't really want to do this, but let's take a moment to think about your family and the people you're doing it for. Why are you cooking for them? Thinking about your purpose can bring back the excitement and make even boring tasks meaningful.

We all have times when we feel unmotivated, but finding purpose and fulfillment in simple activities is the key to moving forward and achieving great things.

For example, I recently started working on my meditation skills. Before, it was hard for me to sit quietly for five minutes without getting distracted. But I didn't give up -- I kept trying and now I'm really proud of myself for being able to focus for that long. Meditation isn't my favourite thing to do, but wanting to beat my five-minute record motivates me to meditate almost every day.

Let me share some suggestions for changing how we see things and finding beauty in everyday life:

  1. Make Your Routines More Fun: Create a playlist with songs that match the activities you're doing and improve your mood. Let music make your experience better.
  2. Enjoy All Your Senses: When doing boring chores, make them more enjoyable by using things that appeal to all your senses. Use soft lighting, scented candles, or relaxing sounds in the background. Turn the ordinary into something special.
  3. Capture the Magic: Make it your goal to find beautiful moments throughout the day. Take pictures of interesting things you see and write down experiences that make you happy. Train your mind to see extraordinary things in everyday life.

Personally, I love the sunset lamp in my room that changes colours. It creates a peaceful and amazing atmosphere. When I was working at an at home part-time job, I would turn on the lamp to make the environment nicer. I would also listen to music that made me feel good, which helped me finish my shift faster and made it more enjoyable.

By being aware of what's happening around us everyday, we can engage our senses and notice things we might have missed before. Gratitude is also important because it helps us focus on the good things instead of the bad. Even when washing dishes, we can be thankful that we don't have to clean a big pot -- finding the positives in simple moments.

When we find meaning in our daily tasks, we can see how they help us grow and learn. Folding laundry, for example, is not just folding clothes. It's an important chore that teaches us to be organized and responsible.

Now, I challenge you to approach your everyday tasks with a fresh perspective and a renewed sense of purpose. Embrace the opportunity to change and grow. Remember, it takes time and practice to see things differently, so why not start today?
