The Fountain of Youth Exists Within

How to become more youthful and vibrant starting today!

Let’s clear something up.

Both the “past” and “future” are illusions. That’s right; they don’t exist, and I’ll prove it.

Just think about this: You have never, ever, in life, experienced either the past or future, except in your own imagination. Just chew on that for a while.

See, it’s always “Right Now.”

All we ever experience is an ongoing present moment, that keeps regenerating itself over and over. But that’s difficult for the human mind to make sense of. So, we came up with the concept of linear time to measure and track the changing of events.

If you explore the topic of extreme longevity, you’ll find that there are actually many people in the world who are living life at a youthful and vibrant level for what you might consider a very old age.

And some of these people didn’t start working out or eating right until they were in their mid 40s, 50s, or even in their 60s.

But, see, most of us have been conditioned to see ourselves in a certain way at those ages. And, even worse, to cap the limits of what’s possible for someone who reaches an arbitrary number.

In fact, some people believe that the time for them to be useful, energetic, and vibrant has passed, and can never come back. They walk through life wishing that there was a way for “the good days” to return.

But the time is always “Now.”

That younger version of yourself exists in this moment, along with the older one that you’ve become accustomed to. And it’s always who you choose to “be,” right now, that determines which reality you’ll tune into.

“Youth” is a present moment experience; always has been. But you’ve been convinced that it is a way of being occurring somewhere, or some when, else.

But how in the world can that be?

Remember: The past is simply an illusion. And, as long as you keep looking there for hope, or fulfillment, or the good days in life, your search will turn up empty.

It’s only here, in the present, when you can live in a state of optimal health and well-being. Only your mind, which has abandoned the possibility of living youthfully right now.

It has moved into a world where it believes that you are older, and should look and act the part.

Essentially, the identity has switched one role for another. It has put on a new costume and acts as though this one is real “real.” But none of those uniforms are actually “you,” nor can they can define your potential.

Your body is simply reacting to a coded language; instructions that come from the mind and can be reset at any time. How do I know this is true?

Well, just think about it.

The body reflects your state of being all day long and throughout life. If you become the type of person who is grumpy, stressed out, and frustrated every day time, the shape of your face will change, wrinkles will emerge, your muscles will stay tense.

You may end up experiencing stiffness or pain in the joints, and become prone to injury. Adrenaline will flood your system on a frequent basis and accelerate the aging process.

In other words, that character is destined to age very quickly—physically, emotionally and psychologically—compared to someone who maintains a peaceful and “drama free” state of mind.

Remember, it’s always who you are being, inside, that has the greatest impact over how well your body is able to sustain, perform, and continue to improve throughout this lifetime.

Yes, of course, nutrition plays an important part. But we consume much more than just food.

Since birth, we have all been absorbing ideas, conversations, energies, attitudes, and beliefs. These nonphysical aspects of the human experience do more to make up the body than most people can imagine.

In fact, two people who have a very similar body composition and genetic makeup, can experience life in entirely different ways. One might get sick all the time, while the other hardly catches as much as the common cold.

The difference comes down to who each one believes he or she is. This is a difficult idea for many people to digest at first. But give it some time and soon, you’ll see examples of what I’m talking about everywhere.

Beliefs about health, vitality, and age are passed down through families and among cultures. That’s why we often see a similar set of conditions and aging markers showing up around the same time for all people in a group.

In fact, it’s been shown that people often age just like their grandparents did. Because when we’re very little, everything that we see, hear and sense makes an impression.

But here’s the point that I want to make. Don’t look to get the old you back, but to renew and restore the body that contains who you have become. Because reaching for the past means that you don’t see what you want as being here now.

And it’s only realizing yourself as youthful, in the present, that will trigger your body to catch up with the picture you hold inside.
