Stop Watching Others

The pressure of over-thinking

One thing I have noticed more so, since this whole pandemic is how many people watch each other and spend most of their lives, judging or trying to work out what is going on in another person's head.

Many get so worked up over it, to the point that they totally disregard their own self and stay focused on what others are doing or could be thinking.

Why do this?

The main reason many get fixated on what others are or are not doing, is because it takes the heat away from making any decision about their own life.

Life decisions can be scary and over-whelming and avoiding having to make this decision gives the individual the freedom to do nothing about their current situation and re-focus on others lives instead.

This is not healthy.

I understand watching Reality Shows and enjoying celebrity feeds on Instagram, but when you are watching and waiting for others to fall or make a mistake, this creates nothing but negative energy and when you release negative energy out into the Universe, you only get back what you give out.

Judging what others are doing or saying, creates a bad feeling within. To transform your life and live a happy life, you need to be creating good feelings. You need to be at that high-vibe as much as possible.

For your life to be a success and for your life to be happy and fulfilled, it is important to bring the focus back to you.

You need to be the centre of attention in your life. You need to look at what you are and are not doing and you do need to face the decision of change, whether you like it or not.

Watching others lives, is not going to bring you success. Complaining, copying and judging others is not going to leave you fulfilled.

What you focus on you create more of. So why take the focus off yourself?

You are a valuable person, who deserves to live a life of happiness and fulfillment. Therefore, the quicker you take your focus off what others are doing with their life and get back to you, the quicker you will see progress.

Another reason to move away from trying to workout what others are thinking and doing, is that it messes with your head.

Your brain needs space to breathe. It is so good at storing information that anything you focus on it takes in.

So imagine, all your thoughts from the past, the present and the future it stores. Plus all those thoughts you are taking in from focusing on what is going on in others lives in addition! Now that's a lot of wasted space, that could be used to help you.

The majority of our thoughts from the past are unfortunately, negative. It's great when we hold onto those happy memories, but the negative ones always seem to prevail, especially when we seek comfort in how others didn't treat us well (yes, it seems many hold onto this to think about in those times of insecurity)

When our brain takes on too much negative thoughts, it can result in stress and stress over those that you are merely observing because you have an opinion about them, is wasted stress.

Why risk getting ill over this? Why jeopardise your future?

Does it really matter what they think?

Stress is the number one contributor to weakened immune systems. Right now it is so important to make sure you do not take on anything that could weaken your immune system at all.

Staying healthy and being in tip top condition mentally, physically and spiritually is so important. Therefore, trying to work out what others are thinking, doing or saying in their lives, is so not worth it.

Honestly, you will never really know anyway, what is going on in another person's head, so why are you trying to work it out?

So my message to you today is don't let judgement, opinions and jealousy take over your thought process.

Don't create more negative energy around you than positive energy.

Bring your focus back to your life. Face those decisions that need to be made, that will move your life forward and most of all - release yourself from the responsibility of thinking that you are responsible for everyone else.

You are only responsible for yourself.
