To all you who have not been in the light of this knowledge, I ask you to try thinking and introspecting on this a little. It’s amazing to realize the fact about what actually you are lagging.
This post covers all the basic awareness that one needs to understand mental health. There are few questions, a few statistics and facts, and some tips that might help.
Why mental health is important?
It is often neglected because of the stigma that is around mental health. People lack basic knowledge in being compassionate towards mentally suffering people. They misunderstand them and judge them which affects their esteem.
It has an Influence in many areas of life; psychological, social, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Also can impact your happiness.
Why is mental health important for happiness?
As mentioned above, mental health influences many areas of our life so mental stability and happiness are bonded. In this pursue many have tried balancing and actually came up with real ways to be in that divine state. But the more we try to make a formula, the further we get!!
Happiness is understood as pleasure, being engaged, and life satisfaction which I don’t agree with.
The relationship between the importance of happiness and mental health outcomes. Whether the relationship between happiness and mental health is moderated by the importance individuals place on happiness. Happiness and to a lesser extent, the importance of happiness, are associated with mental health outcomes.
Achievements could make us feel great at first but that thrill vanishes with time. You must have heard of the term Hedonic Adaption. It conveys the tendency of human emotions to return to their earlier stable level of happiness. Despite such major positive or negative events or changes that occur in life.
It is fact that mental health and the pain it bears are not visible to others, so it is often misunderstood even so it exists and hurts the one who has it.
When you break your toes or finger that is visible but when you are in anguish it’s not visible to others (unless to an experienced one). And there are barely a few devices that can be used to determine that.
If someone lacks anxiety and depression also doesn’t mean that he is mentally healthy there are more to know

Moving on is difficult, everyone feels that. Past means it is passed on to present. what is time, it is only the present that exists, so when you term a time "past". It means that you're no more in that time.
Many have harsh experiences in their life that might seem unforgettable, moving on might be a little bit more difficult for you. But let me tell you it is still possible.
Find the positive in a negative event from your past, this helps. You can try.
Live in the moment and savor life’s pleasure: the more you savor the more universes give you to be savor.

The relationship is another crucial part of your life, which plays a major role in your happiness and mental stability. To maintain you have to put in some efforts.
Making a conscious effort to stay connected with someone you respect and love, makes your love more visible. It often compels the other to stay with you.

Take out time from your busy schedule and invest quality time with the people you care about and offer sincere compliments about what you feel commendable about them. Expressing won’t let you regret it, I promise. Go for it and tell me how you feel.
And one thing to remember, though it is very natural to us, taking delight in the good fortune of others is what a loving one does.

- Meditate, I won’t tell much about this.
- Adopt enjoyable daily rituals like making exercise a regular habit. Minimizing multi-tasking in your day-to-day activities.
- Getting the sleep you need this one is a must.
- Become mindful of everything you can think of, common you can at least try. I know you cannot be of everything because nobody does.

People with whom you spent the most time have the most influence on your mental health. They are who create your environment. And sometimes not always you don’t have any control over your moods and choice seems really difficult. The environment is the cause of this.
Hope you got my point.
When is a good time to reach out for help?
An unhealthy mind will sooner or later manifest itself into an unhealthy body. A study revealed that some disorders can reduce life expectancy by up to 20 years. That’s more than heavy smoking. People suffering from mental illness are at higher risk of heart problems and early death. The list goes on, linking poor mental health to diabetes, osteoporosis, etc.
To avoid all these, the sooner the better it is!!
When small issues are not noticed by professionals even the one who could get the help won’t get it. This issue grows and one can develop anxiety and depression. Which again leads to addictions and severe mental health issues
