Is there such a thing as a perfect world?

I want to live in a world where we are not judged by the color of our skin, or by the kind of music we listen to, or where we grew up. I want to live in a world where it is okay to be seen in public in sweatpants, messy hair, and no makeup; where we are not defined by our mistakes, but by our goals and successes.

I want to be able to walk outside into a world where it is okay to be human. Chinese, African, British, Muslim, Christian, or Buddhist. These labels cannot and will not define us. We must not let them. We should not be judged on the size of our bodies, what we wear, who we are friends with, what music we listen to, what we like to eat or where we like to spend our time away from all the craziness of life. We should not have to listen to all the hate the world throws at us. We are who we are and we should never be ashamed of that.

I want to live in a world where I can be 100 percent myself, where I am not scared of what people think of me or what they might say behind my back. I want to live in a world where it is okay to mess up, to sometimes be selfish and not have to feel guilty for it. I want to live for myself and nobody else. I want to live in a world where I can feel free from the bullies and the hatred. I want to live in a better world than this one.

We should be judged on how we act to one another, and how we act alone. Who cares if someone is slightly overweight with ginger hair and huge freckles? Who cares if someone is not that smart and does not know the capital of Peru? What defines us all is our sense of self and what we truly believe in.

For years all we do is carry around the shame of who we really are and it is disgraceful. We should not be idolising people in the media based on their looks, their body, their net worth, or even by their fame. Nobody is perfect yet why do we try to aspire to be? Everyone at some stage will want to try and "fit in," but why try for it when you can stand out from the crowd and be different—be yourself.

Nothing and nobody will ever be perfect. Perfection is just an illusion created by the fame-hungry and the media obsessed. Life is not about how many likes or how many shares you get. It is about certain moments that cannot be captured by film or through the use of social media. It is for loving and living your absolute best life—no matter what.

Knowing that each and all of us are one of a kind, what you choose to do with the life that has been given to us is completely down to you.

Yes, there is evil in this world, but only we can do something about it. Do not let fear drive you from doing something amazing. One good act of random kindness can be the start of something radiant. We should all feel safe and happy with who we are, and with where we live. We only have the one life—the one chance and we should make it count for something.

Don’t you want to feel content and happy knowing that you have done something today to possibly change the world for tomorrow? To turn our world into a better place. No more poverty, no more rich vs poor. No more insecurities. No more disregard for human lives. No more injustices. No more hate.

Just no more.
