It's Ok You're Not Being A Bitch

You Just Quit Putting Up With The Bullshit

Have you ever had someone say to you that you are being a bitch and you wonder, how am I? Well, you are not being a bitch, people just do not like the change in you. so that is their go-to name. Some people do not like when a woman stands up for herself. Especially when it is to an older woman or a mother-in-law. So she gets labeled as a bitch, because she no longer fits in with what they want. She is not allowed to stand up for herself. A mother-in-law will rather you be weak, an abusive husband will rather you be weak, a hateful boss will want you to be weak. Why? Because these people do not want you to be able to stand up to them, and put them in his or her places.

The problem with that is, at some point, at some time, that person usually gets fed up and finds their voice. Maybe it is after being pushed around for so long they just snap. Maybe it is they always kept their mouth shut while married to your child, and after getting a divorce they feel they no longer have to protect the spouse, or get along with the woman that they have come to loathe.

Everyone has a breaking point. Do not worry about what others say, you are not being a bitch. You are just finally deciding not to put up with the same crap day after day.

You are doing what is right for you, and not anyone else. You have to first be happy in order to expect to make anyone else happy. How can you make someone else happy if you are miserable? Fake it til you make it.

I know some people that worked at a Freddy's Steakburgers and Custard Restaurant, and they had the highest turn over rate you have ever seen. The management was abusive, and if an employee stood up for themselves, the management did not like that, so they claimed they had attitudes towards them, and needed to stop and do their jobs. Are you a bitch because you stand up for yourself? No, of course not.

No one deserves to be treated like a piece of crap, whether at work, by friends, or by family. You have to stand up for yourself at some point. I love Aaron Tippin's song "You've Got To Stand For Something," because I think it has a strong message. Listen to it and think about it. Stand for something or you really fall and you will fail.

Do not ever let anyone call you a bitch for standing up for yourself. Do not let them make you feel guilty for standing up for yourself or your loved ones. Do not feel that you are not allowed to have a voice. You do not have to put up with peoples' bad behaviors. You do not have to be the martyr. You need to be happy. You need to live your life without guilt or resentment or regret. If it is really what you want then you do what you need to to survive. Do not let anyone push you around. Not even the ones that say they love you. If they really loved you, they would not treat you the way that they do. Real love does not have a price to pay.

Remember that speaking your peace does not mean that you have to be hurtful. Somehow some people do not understand what that means, but you can be the bigger person. Always remember in everything that you do... do it for you.
