Do you ever remember waking up on the wrong side of the bed and then having everything go wrong for you that day?

Now, do you remember that when you were full of excitement and joy, good things kept coming?

That's basically a matter of vibrations. I'm not going to give you a full-on lesson on vibrations and the law of attraction. I'm not that much of an expert on the subject either, but basically, vibrations attract similar vibrations.

Good vibes attract good things. Bad vibes attract bad things.

If you want to achieve anything in life, you must have a high vibration. A high vibration is the energetic state of being that is focused on the positive, the happy, and the beautiful. It is the state of being in which you are connected to your highest self and all that is good in the world.

When you have a high vibration, you are more likely to attract positive things into your life. You are also more likely to have successful relationships and successful businesses.

So what's a vibration you may ask?

Well, simply put according to Cassandra Sturdy: "Your 'vibration' is a fancy way to describe your overall state.

From a scientific and metaphysical point of view, everyone is made up of different levels of energy: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Each of these levels has a vibrational frequency, which combines to create your overall vibration of being. Or in another word, your overall state, and wellbeing.

All vibrations operate at high and low frequencies, within us and around us. If your vibration is low, it will be obvious; it's just about raising awareness of your situation and working to rectify it.

So how do you raise your vibration?

If you are constantly waking up with compassion, enthusiasm, and ready to conquer the day, your vibrations are skyrocketing.

On the other hand, if you're feeling bored, stuck, and generally jaded, chances are your vibes are low and it's time for you to check out these five easy ways to raise them.

Read on to find out how you can start attracting more abundance into your life!

1. Do an act of kindness

Kindness and compassion are extremely high vibrational emotions. Just think about how you feel when you help someone else! Do a random act of kindness (to a friend or a stranger) and you'll quickly find that it improves your mood. Also, when we perform acts of kindness, it makes us think about our luck, which puts us in a higher energetic state.

2. Practice gratitude

As with kindness, practicing gratitude instantly puts us in a higher vibrational state. Rather than focusing on what you don't have, make a list of all the many things you can be grateful for in your life. I always practice this before going to sleep, making a mental list of people and circumstances for which I am grateful. It means I end the day on a positive note, which also helps me walk away more easily.

3. Love

Yes, love.

Love, joy, and gratitude have the highest vibrations though I completely forgot which one is the highest of the three.

But make sure to spend time with people( or pets) you love. Quality time.

Hug your dad, cuddle with your mom, play with your dog, have a watch a comic show, and have a laugh with your friends.

You'll instantly feel like you're on top of the world!

4. Meditate

Meditation can help ease anxiety and stress, calm the mind, and give you greater insight into your thoughts and feelings. All very high vibration activities! Find a quiet, soothing space (or create one for yourself with headphones) and focus on your breathing for a few minutes. When the mind wanders and is distracted, don't worry, that's completely normal. Using compassion, begin to bring it back to the breath.

5. Select to receive positive information

The news suck.

Yes it's important to stay up to date but I'm asking you, how can you expect to feel good, at peace, and happy if you're constantly watching tv shows and programs where the given information is negative?

Do you really believe you can move on with your day joyfully and in a healthy state of mind if you start your day with people arguing, criticizing, or complaining on the radio?

This tip actually changed my life because I am someone who gets affected terribly by the information I consume...And I consume a lot!

So my piece of advice is to be very selective as to the information you decide to receive since it conditions not only your perception but also your emotions and state of wellbeing.

And when I say information, I don't specifically mean the news.

Social media, movies, music...These are all different types of information that you should be more aware of how they make you feel and what added value they bring to your life, especially emotionally.

These five tips will not only help you raise your vibration to a high and positive one, thus improving your life in general but they will also help you in having more loving and healthy relationships, both with yourself and with others.
