You might be wondering why you came across this page. I think it is a sign saying that you are ready for what is to come in you future, whether that is near or far. I would introduce who I am, where I come from, or even something just as simple as my age. I don't think you guys would care too much on that. But because we are on the topic, I am 17 years old. Why would a 17 year-old be talking about something so deep? It is because I have been feeling fear recently. It is not about a nightmare I had or an idea that that the world might end tomorrow, it is because I want to do a lot of things when I get older. I have the opportunity right now to be able to start things and be able to profit out of it. I am currently letting negative thoughts have an effect on what I want to do. Will the people that I know say something about it or make fun of me for doing it? Will people think because I am stuck up because of what I want to do? If you are thinking the same thing or having similar thoughts, I want to let you know that you are not alone.

Fear has the ability to take away something that we've always wanted to do. You start to overthink things and decide to procrastinate and say "maybe next year". Personally, I am tired of feeling the way I do because of it. I want to be able to do all the things I want to do without having thoughts about what people think of me. That shouldn't matter. At the end of the day, the only person we got is ourselves. This is why I'm here today, writing this to hopefully relate to some people that feel the same. I saw this website a couple of months back and I thought to myself, "maybe later, what if I'm not a good enough writer?" I am choosing now to not let fear take over my ability to do something that I love doing. You should do the same. Fear lies to us, creates self-doubt, sometimes makes us feel anxious. We shouldn't let it have the power to control us. Instead of making fear our foe, we should make it at least a frenemy. We can use fear to motivate us to try something new. Don't go living in doubt. It is a waste of time. Look at some of the most successful people out there in the world. Without taking their leap of faith they wouldn't have gotten to where they wanted to be.

I am not a professional writer. This is my first "story". I hope to grow and inspire as much people as I can when writing these. I am going to stop letting fear get in the way of who I want to become. Will you? I hope not, you will end up regretting not starting something earlier or just doing it. To anyone who is reading this, thank you for taking the the time out of your day to do so. I truly appreciate it. :)
