This book was written in hopes to lead me to a deeper understanding of how I may get out of my own way. All information is based on the foundation that humans have a mind, a body, and one other aspect that is not easily defined. (Some would use words like soul and spirit) This book is encouraged for the reader who endeavors to efficiently use their minds and bodies to get more of what they want out of life.

There is a dialogue between two egos, one ego that wants to experience success and one that wants to experience failure. There are three egos from our previous example. One ego offers thoughts, feelings, and actions that will ensure more negativity and failure. The other ego offers thoughts, feelings, and actions that will ensure more positivity and success.

I found myself on my journey to experiencing my ideal body, asking "who is tired?", after I quit reps early when my muscles "felt" fatigued. I constantly was struggling to choose between eating the correct food and the yummy food. The two egos going back and forth waging war for as long as I allow! Don't forget about the third ego, nicknamed CHOICE, who is always listening to the conflict. Life is similar to this ego always listening. The third ego, and life, hear from both egos, they hear your argument for massive success and your argument for failure.

The question remains, what do you wish to experience?

The third ego, CHOICE will give you what you want, as long as you stop the internal argument and MAKE A DECISION TO USE YOUR THOUGHTS, FEELINGS, AND ACTIONS to get what you want.

Well, I have messed up in the past and used my thoughts, feelings, and actions to get experiences that were not ideal. No big deal! If you can convince your mind of the same thing then you are in for a dynamic experience.

"So you've messed up in the past, that's the truth, but the truth also is that YOU CAN CHANGE" - Jim Rohn (Motivational speaker)

When dealing with yourself I like to use the example of three egos. My favorite metaphor is arbitration for a couple dismantling their marriage. The arbitrator is important because this person is not emotionally invested personally and can make decisions without bias. That is our third ego, our CHOICE.

Let's talk about a positive ego and a negative ego as if they are people in conflict. Person PE and Person NE live together, in a small 2 bedroom apartment. They have been in conflict because PE wants to live in a clean apartment but NE prefers a messy place. Honestly, NE just does not want to be perceived and judged as one of those people who care about having a clean place. NE harbors negative feelings towards people who think they are better than everyone because their homes are clean. NE holds other negative thoughts about clean house people that are not rooted in any reality. NE only keeps his house dirty and only hangs around people who keep their house dirty, so what could NE really know about clean house people. The only thing NE knew about clean house people is that he did not like them and he did not want to be like them.

PE thought of all the benefits of a clean home, constantly, so often that he would try to share them with NE. NE would normally make an excuse about hard work, or he was too busy to clean. PE starts to clean his own room and when NE falls asleep he cleans other parts of the apartment. But also at the same time while PE sleeps NE goes all over and makes messes. There is a big conflict and the apartment won't get completely clean or completely dirty. The two just keep going back and forth ending up in the same place. The battle could rage on for eternity and the battle will go on until a DECISION IS MADE. Either NE or PE should leave the apartment.
