Creating

Dear reader, what is stopping you?

When I take a deep breath and breathe the air that surrounds me, all that I am inhaling is lust for creation. I found myself learning what my biggest passion in life is. Sometimes people are young knowing what their passion is and they continue to work on it daily. Sometimes people are well into their adulthood when they find what they are truly passionate about. For me, I knew when I was younger I fell in love with art and creating. When I was younger, I would write screenplays, dance, write poetry, and all sorts of that realm. I just did not pursue art when I become a teen because I felt like it was a joke. I felt that since I was not good at it, I should not be doing it. That was my biggest mistake. I think the most important thing in doing anything you are passionate about whether you are good or not is doing it so consistently that you will undoubtedly become somewhat decent at it.

Creating gives me chills across my spine yet lights a fire in my belly. I know that I am meant to create. I want to create something that will last forever even when I am no longer alive. I crave the idea of visually seeing my personality being pressed into an object that I can touch or even that I can see across the pages. I don’t think art is something that can only be seen, either. I know one day, my words will be printed in a book and someone will cry over my words. I want someone to not only cry at my words but to have someone burst into tears over my words and that doesn’t necessarily need to be done in a way that is sad. I find myself reading pieces of people’s art and I just get overwhelmed with the feeling that someone out there is feeling the same way I do. I have a lot of feelings locked inside of me and I am just now slowly finding a way to delve deeper and find what it is that I am truly passionate about. Currently, like stated above, my biggest goal is to create a book.

When you think about something you love, do you think that you will just feel free when you are done creating at least one thing that you love? I wonder this too. What if I create a book of my most precious words and they are the only good things that I can say? What if I make a book and nobody feels from it? What if they find it mindless?

I am still creating a way to find a way to delve deeper into my passion of creating. I do see my future of being surrounded by creating art. I will create art until I am no longer breathing art. I do believe that one day my personality will be tangible. I do not know if it will all be the same media of art but I just know one day it will happen.

What if I do make something and nobody finds it inspirational nor worth digesting? I guess there is only one way to find out.

Creating... what is it to you? Is creating self expression? Is creating just a way to relieve stress? I love learning things that people are passionate about. I think we can find another human in someone when we find out what their passions are. I think that this is interesting.

Everyday I am thinking of ways to stay inspired and perhaps that will be another blog post of mine to spread out my thoughts on each category of my favorite art in this pure moment. Writing. I revisited my love for writing lately and I am just so excited to one day see my words tattooed into papers that have a spine and a hardcover. I know my book will one day be done and my name will lay across the book with a glossy cover.

What are somethings you want to create in this world while you are still breathing?

Grab a notebook, jot down what are the 4-5 different things you want to create regardless of any boundaries. We often find excuses, saying, well, I won’t ever get published, I won’t ever be able to find a record label, etc. DO IT YOURSELF UNTIL SOMEONE RECOGNIZES YOUR TALENT! There is a girl I follow on social media that made a book on her own and self published it. She responded so well by her audience that she built from her social media that a publishing agency ended up contacting her for her second novel.

What is stopping you?

Write it down in a notebook: what is stopping you?

And find out a solution to it on the same page. Remove the negative situation and right it in a hopeful way.

Don’t get negative because someone is accomplishing their goals, because you could be doing just as them. Nobody is lucky in this world. Nobody is destined to have a better life than someone else. It just all comes down to the fact of who is putting themselves out into the world, who is working toward their goals. Who is so damn passionate about achieving their goals that they will die trying before they give up?

I want to be like that. I want you, reader, to be like that as well. Live your life as if you were made to accomplish your dream. Because quite frankly, you probably are, and how amazing does that sound? I don’t care if there are a million other successful authors, chefs, dancers, etc. Do it 'cause you could be just as successful. And if you find that you aren’t, well, can you say that you are unhappy? Probably not.

Dear reader, like stated above, let goosebumps cover your body and let a fire start in your belly until you achieve your greatest desire. Do not let limiting beliefs stop you because life is quite honestly short. If you think about it theres only a few decades we get to live life to the fullest potential, so why waste it?
