7 Signs show it's time to see a psychologist

The last thing you want to do is ruin your manly image by complaining about your bad mood and negative thoughts. But, believe me, there are at least seven cases when telling a specialist about your problem does not mean giving up.

There is an opinion that somehow it is not proper for a man to dismiss nurses and even more so to ask for help. Following this postulate, year after year you suppress your emotions, not even suspecting that you risk a lot of health problems, including psychological ones. Just wait until the light is not nice, so-so idea.

I don't recognize myself!

You were a frequenter of stormy parties and a real soul of the company, and now you walk gloomier than a cloud? It is time to figure out what these metamorphoses are connected with.

The deviation from the usual state deserves close attention. The main thing is to understand how significant the changes are. It's one thing to be sad for a couple of days, and quite another to be in a bad mood all the time. If you don’t look like yourself, and the feeling of inner discomfort has become a faithful companion, then it’s time to think about where your legs grow from.

Covered with a wave of negativity.

The boss criticized the presentation, and you immediately think about dismissal, scrolling through all the details of the event day after day? Your wife has become less friendly, and you already imagine a divorce in all colors, not finding the strength to cope with this fear? If the consciousness constantly draws a terrible scenario, and gloomy thoughts are stuck around like flies from all sides, do not hesitate: you are pulling yourself to the bottom of continuous negativity.

Usually, a person does not get hung up on the bad, gradually switching to other things. But in worsened states, obsessive thoughts return, again and again, pulling all the attention of a person to themselves.

Want nothing.

Remember how you dreamed of a promotion, a trip to India, and a new car? When you do not want to remember past goals, and there are no plans for the future even in the rudiment, it means that everything has gone too far. It is simply impossible to leave your condition without correction.

For a mentally healthy person, it’s normal to strive for something, see motivation and take action. But the complete absence of any tasks and the willingness to go with the flow is a good reason to think.

I don't want to see anyone!

Favorite series and shows are a good thing, which is already there. But if all you do is lie on the couch for hours with the remote control in your hands, avoiding friends and family, then it's time to sound the alarm.

Closed lifestyle is a bad symptom. Such behavior shows a person that his energy is at zero and it is hardly enough for internal processes. But, there is good news too! Communication with loved ones helps to even out the emotional background. An ordinary conversation with dear people gives a powerful boost of oxytocin.

Hungry, but don't eat ...

Cakes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner are a curiosity for you, but again you can’t walk past a pastry shop? Or, on the contrary, did you suddenly turn from a lover of hearty food into a person who is absolutely indifferent to food? Do not be afraid, but it seems that the experience has grown into you too deeply.

A sudden change in eating habits is a powerful marker of a deteriorating mental state in which a person no longer has enough awareness to control himself.

You sleep, you don't sleep.

Do you toss and turn for a long time and as a result fall asleep only on pills? Tormented by nightmares? And sometimes you fall down and get up completely broken?

All these phenomena clearly signal that certain processes are taking place at the level of the unconscious that makes it difficult for a person to exist. In such cases, a specialist should understand the problem, since taking drugs will only have a temporary effect, but will not eliminate the cause of discomfort.

There are symptoms - no disease!

Either he will grab his back, then his head will hurt - in a word, every day, then a new malaise, although, it would seem, there is no visible reason. Alas, it most likely exists. True, not in the body, but in the head.

In a word, if you are familiar with at least one of the listed symptoms firsthand and you are not able to cope with the discomfort on your own, it is clearly not worth postponing a trip to a specialist.
