“When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”

Paulo Coelho

Tip No.1

Plan before what you are going to do for the day. Sometimes you can be occupied by things that you can do either later or on another day. If you will give in to these distractions, you will lose a lot of time procrastinating and leaving a day unfruitful.

With this tip on work motive, you need to have a plan on what things are needed to be done for the day. By having a plan that you actively have in mind and in print, and if you rigorously adhere to it, then you will accomplish the tasks without being distracted by procrastination. In short, just remain focused.

“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.”

Thomas Edison

Tip No.2

Take everything a step at a time. Learn from how elephants take their meals. Elephants, when they eat, do not rush in putting their food in their mouth. Same with work.

If you are going to load yourself with work that is too unbearable, the trouble is you won’t be motivated to do anything anymore. Worse if you do not have any work done at all. Divide the tasks for today into parts and take them one step at a time.

Tip No.3

Use negative thoughts as your driving force. I know this sounds a bit odd to you, but this is very effective work motivation. Negative thoughts can keep you on track. By this, we mean the thought of you failing should be your driver to make work done on time and done as best as possible.

You can do this by allowing someone from work to check on your progress.

Be sure that this person is very positive about everything and someone who believes in your skills. There go three tips on how to get work motivation.

Just always remember to be positive all the time and you will get more positive success.

“Just one small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.”

Dalai Lama

First, it is not important to motivate yourself to achieve specific goals in the service. It’s about pushing yourself to improve anything that interests you and it’s about growing as a person.

These are the factors that motivate people for a long time, motivating us to overcome our natural ability for laziness. Short-term “tricks” –– such as trying to raise or rewarding yourself after hitting a small target –– definitely help.

But for a more sustainable solution, look inside and think about what really ticks you: what you really want, what you want to achieve in the end, and why.

If you find motivation for your business to be successful, if you are a company leader, in particular, you must - there is no better way to motivate yourself than by tracking your core metrics and paying attention to customer feedback. Realizing that your customers are not happy, for example, will motivate you to recalibrate or work extra hard so that you can get your next product release right.

Also, set specific goals for yourself and your team - for example, reaching X customers, page views or orders over the next month, or receiving Y amounts of happy emails from customers - giving you the goal line to shoot your daily work.

Focusing on key metrics and informative data pieces makes it easier to celebrate small successes with your team - such as overcoming those limitations.
