Face masks is one of the main recommendation for the safety of you and others.

The COVID 19 virus has been around ever since recent records from late 2019 and early 2020. Most people in the world are either quarantined or are working in Essential work areas needed in today’s pandemic. There’s been many times where people either have panic attacks or have no clue if they have been infected or not until it’s too late. After looking into the information presence around the internet, this is what has been documented.

Doctors are reporting they now understand the behavior of the COVID 19 virus due to autopsies that they have carried out. This virus is characterized by obstructing respiratory pathways with thick mucus that solidifies and blocks the airways and lungs. So they have discovered that in order to apply a medicine you have to open and unblock these airways so that the treatment can be used to take effect however all of this takes a number of days. These are their recommendations for what you can do to safeguard yourself.

The first recommendation is to drink lots of hot liquids. This includes the following - coffees, soups, teas, warm water. In addition, take a sip of warm water every 20 minutes because this keeps your mouth moist and washes any of the virus that’s entered your mouth into your stomach where your gastric juices will neutralize it before it can get to the lungs.

The second recommendation is to gargle with an antiseptic and warm water like vinegar or salt or lemon every day if possible. This usually helps wash away any germs lingering in your mouth or throat. The virus enters the system through the throat but will sit in the throat for 3-4 days before it passes into your lungs.

The third recommendation is cleaning your surroundings and oneself. The virus attaches itself to hair and clothes. Usually detergent or soap kills it, so you must take a bath or shower when you get in from the street and wash your clothes. Take action by going straight to the shower once entering your own home. If you cannot wash your clothes daily, hang them in sunlight which also helps to neutralize the virus. Also, this includes the washing hands rule. Make sure you wash your hands every 20 minutes with any soap that foams and do this for 20 seconds. This will neutralize any risk of the virus to attach to you.

The fourth recommendation is to wash metallic surfaces very carefully bc the virus can stay viable on these for up to 9 days. Take note and be vigilant about touching hand rails, door knobs, etc., and keep these clean in home. That way, the virus will not linger long enough to get you sick.

The fifth recommendation is to not smoke. This weakens your lungs and throat to be exposed to the virus. Also, it could lead to spreading of others in the presence of a smoker.

The sixth recommendation is to eat fruits and vegetables. Now there might be some people out there who can’t do this. However, another item to consume is vitamins. This will elevate your zinc levels to strengthen your immune system.

Finally, the last recommendation to prevent yourself or lower the risk of getting COVID-19 is to try to avoid getting the common flu. This already weakens your system, as the virus could be mistaken for the flu or a cold. Another way to not weaken the immune system is toavoid eating and drinking any cold things. This usually makes it easier to attract from a person to person contact.

Alway doing all the above, there is additional testing you can do by yourself. Experts suggest doing this simple verification every morning - breathe in deeply and hold your breath for 10 seconds. If this can be done without coughing, without difficulty, this shows that there is no fibrosis in the lungs, indicating the absence of infection. It is recommended to do this control every morning to help detect infection.

Hopefully, this helps decrease another increase of the infection so we won’t lose anymore lives.
