Calming Effect

We all could use some advice in trying to stay healthy and sane in this crazy world, and most people are aware that lavender is incredibly soothing. It has even been used by dentists to calm patients, which is a miracle because it's impossible to be calm at the dentist's. Lavender is great for calming anxiety and helping with insomnia, it also improves the quality of sleep. Sleep is important guys. Some people have the habit of rubbing Lavender oil on their chest before bed, some put it on their pillow, and some even rub it into their feet. It certainly beats unnatural sleep aids.

Another way to enjoy the calming effect of Lavender before bed is with tea, and it's super easy to make. All you need is:

  1. Lavender (duh)
  2. Boiling hot water
  3. A tea bag
  4. Chamomile tea bag (optional)

I use Chamomile tea since I find the scents compliment each other, it's also an almost guaranteed way to knock yourself out. All you need to do is boil the water, like with normal tea, put the lavender in the tea bag, and the stew the lavender and chamomile in the hot water. I recommend leaving it in there for about 10 minutes, so it's drinkable and flavorsome.

For Beauty

You are all stunningly beautiful so I'm not sure why you'd be reading this. Maybe you want more beauty?!? How could I say no to a face like yours?

Considering how gorgeous lavender is, it's no surprise how good it is for our skin and hair. Considering how much chemicals are around in this modern world, it would be nice to give our bodies a break.

Lavender can be very good for our skin, It's gentle, natural, and easy to use. And the first method involved hot water like the tea. Super easy, just pour hot water into a bowl, or large basin, and add lavender oil to it, then hover your face above it, also cover your head and the bowl with a towel, then just relax and take in the vapor. It will cleanse your skin wonderfully, and your face will smell great. Don't forget to wash your face afterward.

Another great treatment for your skin starts by combing honey and lavender. All you need to do is put two spoons of honey, one spoon of water, and five drops of lavender oil together, mix well, and then apply to your face, leaving it on there for about 15 minutes.

Don't leave your hair out! Just mix two tablespoons of coconut oil and one tablespoon of lavender oil, and then massage it into your hair, then wrap your hair up in a towel and go to bed. By morning your hair will be shiny and smelling delicious.

For Your Tummy

We've already talked about tea, but in this section I'm going to talk about how we are going to make our friend, the tummy happy. There are endless ways for us to use lavender in our dishes, and it gives such a fresh, gentle taste. I don't think it is used enough.

There are also some seemingly boring dishes, that can be completely remade with just a bit of lavender. Consider roast potatoes, for example, all you need to do is sprinkle some lavender on them and they turn into a truly regal dish.

Also, who doesn't love ice cream? Well, whilst exploring the web I found the most gorgeous recipe, that everyone needs to try. Ice Cream Ireland holds the recipe for white chocolate and lavender ice cream. It is delicious and smooth and completely wonderful.
