How to Relieve Stress and Anxiety Every Single Day

If you suffer from stress and anxiety every day then you will know how debilitating this can be. You may feel as though you have so much to think about and that you are just unable to process everything too. If you want to give yourself some degree of relief then you will be glad to know that this is very easy to do, especially if you follow the below steps.


Exercise is quite possibly one of the best and most important things that you can do to try and combat stress. It may sound contradictory, but physical stress can actually help to relieve mental stress. The main reason for this is because exercise lowers the stress hormone in your body, and it can also help you to release endorphins too. These are chemicals which improve your mood while also acting as a natural painkiller.


There are so many supplements out there that can help you to reduce anxiety. If you want to find out more about this then you should really look into lemon balm. This is a member of the mint family, but it has been studied time and time again for its anti-anxiety effects. Omega-3 fatty acids can also reduce your anxiety, so they really are a fantastic choice. Marijuana can also really help you to relax as well. When you smoke cannabis, or use an essential oil, you will soon find that your mood improves and that you are also able to focus on the present moment much more efficiently. Please note that this does not promote the use of drugs, sell drugs or influence it on others. If legal in your state and beneficial with a doctor, talk through it more before making a choice about the use of marijuana and cannabis.

Light a Candle

Did you know that some scents are especially soothing? This can include lavender, rose and even bergamot too. If you want to try some other scents, then you should certainly look into things like sandalwood and neroli too. Using scents to calm your mood is otherwise known as aromatherapy. Studies have been done and they all show that oils like this can improve your level of sleep while also helping you to significantly reduce your anxiety.


Caffeine is known as being a stimulant. It is found in tea, chocolate and various energy drinks too. It should be noted that if you were to have a high dose of caffeine, this can easily increase your anxiety. People have different limitations as to how much caffeine they can tolerate. If you know that caffeine makes you anxious then it is a good idea for you to cut back on it.

Write Everything Down

Another way for you to deal with stress would be for you to write down whatever is bothering you. If you do, then you will soon find that you are able to process everything much more efficiently and that you also feel better about yourself overall. If you are having a hard time sitting down with a pen and paper then just focus on jotting down the way that you are feeling. You don’t have to keep a full diary if you don’t feel as though this is going to help.
