When we lack good health, everything left in life suffers. It's harder to concentrate on anything that is going around us. Illness can cause us to fall behind in course work. Stress can make us feel overwhelmed. If we want to do well in all parts of our life, we must make our health a priority. 

Health issue doesn’t affect only our body but mind also. An unhealthy person becomes unhealthy by mind also. Health is a state of body and mind. So, it is essential to take care of both our bodies and mind. If we take care of our minds and health it will pay us back in many ways.

Good health allows you to take control of your life and feel good about your choices.

It helps you to gain energy and feel more fit.

Improves your physical health.

Generally, many diseases, if not all, cure or manage while in many cases it is reversible with some effort. That’s why, most youth and a huge number of adults are facing disease depression, obesity, type 2 diabetes, chronic disease, body pain, and heart disease, due to a lack of concentration towards fitness and significance.

Heath and wellness have slightly different meanings. Health is a term that connects with the medical world that recounts the mental and physical state of an individual. Health usually means the absence or Abnormality of disease, on the flip side wellness is the overall process of maintaining the common state of good health. Wellness contains conscious decisions made by a person while health describes a person’s condition. These two words are combined to express the pursuit of general mental, physical, emotional, and physical health.

Health and wellness in a person are affected by a variety of factors. It includes sex, age, genetics, gender, community, and social influence, working and living parameters, environment, and social condition, and a person’s lifestyle factor.

Health has immense value in our lives. It reduces the risk of untimely death by affecting better life quality in people. It also cuts the risk of inactivity-related illnesses like Cardiovascular disease.

Health helps to gain core strength, balance, self-es-teen, coordination, and body image. Health can be maintained by an individual effort towards itself and especially by doing physical exercise as control of health and wellness.

Wellness and fitness include being aware and making healthy options about exercise, diet, and staying positive. These are the most essential investment that you can make in your life. 

Now the question arises How can we take care of our health?

Here are some tips that you can follow to retain your healthy lifestyle.

Take care of your health through proper diet and nutrition: Meal which is preparing for you or for your family make sure, to focus on to have a healthy meal.

As far as possible have a home-cooked meal: This habit can encourage healthy eating and also gives you more family time.

Make breakfast as an essential part of the day: Breakfast helps at the jump start of the day. Breakfast provides fuel for an active lifestyle and gives you energy for all-day work.

Maintain balance: balance what you eat the whole day to meet your nutrition and enjoyment.

Keep a variety of items in your different mealtime: Eat all kinds of food items from essential food group to fulfill your nutrition need like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, proteins.

Moderate on what you eat: Concentrate on feeling comfortable instead of being too full after you eat. Maintain moderation while choosing fewer nutritious foods.

Overall don’t restrict your food: Try to make a balance between good and bad choices.

Take care of your health through exercise: Activeness is also a sign of a healthy lifestyle and also important in preventing serious diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and body pain.

Every step counts so, that every step you take. It helps you to manage your body weight and improve your health. Make aim for at least 10000 steps per day, try to do 150 min exercise every week. Do mediation, it will heal your mind and makes you feel fresh.

Limit screen time like TV, computer, and other screen accessories rather than doing this you should try other options like board games, reading.

Enjoy outdoor activity: go to park, swim, go for a walk.

If possible participate in sports activities.

Take the stairs if you are comfortable.

Use lunchtime to take a short walk.
