The metal surface treatment agent refers to the general term for chemical agents for various treatments of metal surfaces. Metal surface treatment includes pre-treatment of substrates such as oil removal, rust removal, phosphorization, and rust-proof. It is prepared for metal coating technology and metal protection technology. It mainly includes three categories: cleaning agent, rust-proof agent, and phosphorus fluid.

Cleaning Agents

Metals and products often contain dirt and impurities on the surface during processing. Cleaning is an extremely important part of metal surface treatment. The commonly used cleaning agents based on oil dehydration are petroleum cleaning agents, chlorine hydrocarbon cleaning agents, and alkaline cleaning agents.

Petroleum Cleaning Agents

The principle of its role is mainly to use its dissolution of metal surface oil. Because such solvents have strong penetration and good abandon ability, they are generally used for rough cleaning to remove a large amount of oil dirt.

Chlorine Hydrocarbon Cleaning Agents

A strong dissolving capacity for fats characterizes this type of solvent, but it is low in boiling points and is generally not flammable. Moreover, it is smaller than the heat, and the heat is small, so it is fast and faster. Its density is generally larger than air, so it exists in the lower part of the air. Due to these characteristics, it can be used for steam surplus.

Alkaline Cleaning Agents

The principle of their role is to form an initial soap that can cause saponification with fatty acid glycerin in oil pollution, making oil dirt water-soluble and being dissolved and removed. Among them, sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate also have the effect of neutralization of acid dirt.

Rust-proof Agents

The purpose a metal rust-proof agent is added to a kind of chemical agent to various media such as water, oil, or fat. It is used to split water-soluble rust-proof agents, oil-soluble rust-proof agents, and emulsified rust-proof agents.

Water-soluble Rust-proof Agent

Soluble water solutions in water, and metal can prevent corrosion and rust after treatment. Their rust-proof effects can be divided into three categories. ① Metal and rust-proof agents generate insoluble and dense oxide film, which prevents the metal anode from dissolving or promoting metal passivation, thereby inhibiting metal corrosion. ② Metal and rust-proof agents generate difficulty salt so that the metal isolates from the corrosive medium and is exempted from corrosion. ③ Metal and rust-proof agents generate difficulty complex, covering the metal surface and protecting the metal from corrosion.

Oil-soluble Rust-proof Agent

Emulsified Rust-proof Agent

Water emulsifier is generally transparent or translucent liquid. The emulsified rust-proof agent has both rust-proof and lubricating performance and cooling performance. Therefore, it is often used as a lubricating coolant for metal cutting.

Phosphorus Fluid

Phosphate is one of the important ways of corrosion of metal materials. The purpose is to provide corrosion protection to matrix metals, use it for pre-painting, improve the adhesion and corrosion capacity of the membrane layer, and reduce the corrosion capacity in metal processing. The processing process before the steel surface coating refers to dehydration (oil removal), rust removal, surface, and phosphorization. However, due to the different situations of the workpiece, the production process is different. Some processes do not have abandoned or rust-removing processes, and some processes have no surface adjustment processes, but phosphorus chemical order is absolutely indispensable.
